The Red Keep   The Red Keep is a castle on Aegon's Hill in King's Landing, the capital of the Six Kingdoms. The Red Keep is the home of the Lord of the Six Kingdoms.
The Sept of Recollection   The Sept of Recollection, also called the Great Sept is the center of religious worship for the Faith of the Seven and the seat of the High Septon of the Faith. It is located in King's Landing, the capital of the Six Kingdoms.
The Dragonpit   The Dragonpit is a huge, cavernous building that sits atop the Hill of Rhaenys in King's Landing. It was constructed during the first century of the Targaryen reign to house the royal dragons. Eventually, the building was destroyed, and lay abandoned for over century and a half. Under the reign of Bran the Broken, it was restored and renovated to be of use to the Great Council's of the Six Kingdoms in choosing a new monarch.
Flea Bottom   Flea Bottom is a down-trodden area of town. It has pot-shops along the alleys where one can get a 'bowl o' brown.' It has a stench of pigsties and stables, tanner's sheds mixed in with the smell of winesinks and whorehouses. It is a maze of twisty, unpaved alleys and cross-streets below the Street of Flour on the way down the west side of Rhaenys's Hill. The buildings lean over the narrow alleys, almost touching.
Dragonstone (Castle)   Dragonstone is a castle on Dragonstone island at the entrance to Blackwater Bay, below the Dragonmont. It was the original seat of House Targaryen in Westeros, and had been colonized and fortified as the westernmost outpost of the Valyrian Freehold. The castle is now occupied by House Velaryon.
Driftmark   Driftmark is a grim-looking castle, often damp and flooded. It has dark, salt-stained walls.
High Tide   High Tide is built from pale stone, the same material used in the Eyrie. Its slender towers are crowned with roofs of beaten silver which shine in the sun. When the waters of Blackwater Bay are at high tide, the castle is connected to the island of Driftmark by only a causeway.
Hull   Hull is a town on the island of Driftmark in the crownlands. It is located beneath the walls of Castle Driftmark and took its name from the rows of ship hulls at anchor below the castle.
Spicetown   Spicetown was a town on the island of Driftmark in the crownlands. It was located near High Tide, athwart the Gullet. It is a hub of trade, especially with merchants from the Free Cities of Essos. Once destroyed, it has been rebuilt into a bustling trade center once again.
Dun Fort   The Dun Fort is a large castle that overlooks the town of Duskendale. The seat of House Rykker, it has a large square keep and big drum towers.
Sharp Point   A testament to Valyrian architecture, Sharp Point is the seat of House Celtigar. Noted as one of the most comfortable noble homes in all of Westeros.

Highgarden   Highgarden is a castle which serves as the seat of House Blackwater, the regional capital of the Reach, and the heart of chivalry in the Seven Kingdoms.
The Hightower   The Hightower is the seat of House Hightower, one of the most powerful families of the Reach. The castle and lighthouse is located in the port of Oldtown atop Battle Isle, where the Honeywine widens into Whispering Sound.
The Starry Sept   The Starry Sept, also called the Sept of Oldtown, is a large sept near the Honeywine in Oldtown. It served as the seat of the High Septon before Aegon's Conquest.
The Citadel   The Citadel is a complex of buildings in Oldtown that serves as the central home to the order of the maesters. The name is also employed to refer to order of maesters as an institution, or the higher placed members.
Grimston   Grimston is a grey stone keep on the island of Greyshield. It is a unremarkable but well kept.
Vine Hall   Vine Hall is an impressive castle in the Arbor, and residence of House Redwyne
Old Oak   Seat of House Oakheart, Old Oak is a holdfast dating back to the Andal Invasion.

Riverrun   Riverrun is the ancestral castle of House Tully, the Lords Paramount of the Trident.
The Twins   The Twins are two identical castles with a bridge between.
Castle Darry   Though old, Darry is a relatively small castle.

Storms End   Storm's End is the seat of House Baratheon, the Lords Paramount of the Stormlands. The castle is located at Durran's Point on the northern coast of Shipbreaker Bay, south of Bronzegate and northeast of Griffin's Roost. The kingsroad runs north from Storm's End through the stormlands to King's Landing, the capital of the Seven Kingdoms.

Storm's End was decimated by natural disasters and rebuilt by Lord Gendry Baratheon, legitimized son of King Robert I Baratheon.
Felwood   Felwood is the seat of House Fell in the Stomlands.
Blackhaven   Blackhaven is the seat of House Dondarrion in the southwestern Stormlands. The fortress guards against invasions from Dorne and from outlaws hiding in the mountains.
Nightsong   Nightsong is the seat of House Fletcher in the southwestern Stormlands. The formidable castle is located in the Dornish Marches.

Casterly Rock   Casterly Rock, nicknamed the Rock, is a castle and the seat of House Lannister.
Faircastle   Faircastle is the seat of House Farman and is located above the Sunset Sea in the Westerlands. The castle has a great hall, tall white towers, and dungeons.

The Eyrie   The Eyrie is an ancient castle and seat of House Arryn, It is situated in the Mountains of the Moon astride the peak known as the Giant's Lance, several thousand feet above the valley below. Although small compared to the seats of other Great Houses in Westeros, the Eyrie is considered impregnable to attack.
